Problem Solving, Influencing and Decision Making

Project Type

Problem Solving

Date

April 2018

Mrs. Sandy prefers to conduct a Technology Assessment to reduce the risk of ineffective investment decisions by collecting and analyzing market data to make sure all key requirements can be addressed within the new system's project planning. Items that she will address to minimize project risk is Change Management (she prefers the ADKAR Model), Usability (to address the needs, values and experience of end-users), Communication Planning, Training, and Security. Mrs. Sandy is a champion in using best practices such as Modular Application Development, Modular Procurement, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Usability Factors requirements, Human Centered Design (HCD) principles, and Experience Level Agreements (XLAs). Modularization is an approach to reduce developmental complexity, dividing investments for the proposed solution into smaller parts to reduce risk and permit easier adoption when building a large-scale distributed system.
